Covid-19 in Palestine: 16 deaths, 1,870 new cases within 24 hours

RAMALLAH,PALESTINOW.COM—The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Tuesday that 16 deaths, 1,870 new cases of the coronavirus and 2,395 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.

Mai Al-Kailah, the Palestinian Minister of Health, confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 10 deaths and 1,085 infections were recorded in the West Bank while 6 deaths and 785 new cases were recorded in the Gaza Strip.

She added that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 89.8 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.1 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections, the ministry added.

The minister pointed out that there are 213 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 68 who have been placed on ventilators.

Israeli bulldozers infiltrate Gaza border area

Israeli forces arrest two Palestinians from Ramallah

Days of Palestine – Ramallah – The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday arrested two young men from Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate.

Security sources reported that the occupation forces arrested the two young men, Maan Abdel-Alim Alawi, 20, from the village of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah, and Ayman Rami Subhi Zaid, 19, from Jalazoun refugee camp, to the north, after they raided the homes of their relatives and searched them.

Days of Palestine – Gaza -Today, Wednesday, several Israeli military vehicles penetrated into the border agricultural lands of the citizens east of the city of Deir El-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, and razed the lands.

Local sources stated that the military occupation vehicles launched from the «Kissufim» site, southeast of Deir Al-Balah, and penetrated for tens of meters into the citizens’ agricultural lands, and carried out sweeping activities and placed earth mounds, amid intermittent fire and smoke bombs, to cover up their aggression.

Days of Palestine-Ramallah – A special Israeli force kidnapped today,Tuesday evening, a Palestinian young man from his vehicle in Al-Masyoun neighborhood in Ramallah.

Local sources reported that an undercover israeli force kidnapped the young man, Ahmed Salman Khalil Abu Ghalya, a resident of Bir Nabala, northwest of , while he was inside his vehicle in Al-Masyoun neighborhood in Ramallah.

‘Israel’ re-arrests Palestinian prisoner one day after his release

Israeli occupation authorities re-arrested yesterday the Palestinian veteran prisoner Majd Barbar, one day after his release.

Majd Barbar, from Ras al-Amoud neighborhood of East Jerusalem, was arrested on March 30, 2001, for his role in the resistance against the Israeli occupation and sentenced to 20 years.

Barbar was released on Monday after completing his 20-year-prison term in Israeli jails.

Soldiers Abduct A Palestinian In Tubas

Israeli soldiers abducted, earlier Wednesday, a Palestinian from Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Israeli Soldiers Invade Farmlands In Central Gaza

Several armored Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Palestinian farmlands, Wednesday, east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, before bulldozing them and installing sandhills.

Eyewitnesses said the military vehicles came from Kissufim base, across the fence, southeast of Deir al-Balah, and advanced dozens of meters into the farmlands.
