The United States is appealing a lower court ruling that denied the US request to extradite Assange not, unfortunately, because in the eyes of the court he is innocent of a crime, but because, as Judge Vanessa Baraitser in January concluded, Assange’s precarious psychological state would deteriorate given the “harsh conditions” of the inhumane US prison system, “causing him to commit suicide.” The United States has charged Assange with 17 counts under the Espionage Act and one count of trying to hack into a government computer, charges that could see him imprisoned for 175…

Earlier this week, rapper Lowkey joined campaigners on the streets of Oldham as they protested at the Elbit Ferranti weapons factory located in the northern English town.

While the post-industrial town of 96,000 people might not seem like a likely flashpoint for the Israel-Palestine conflict, many of the weapons used against the civilian Palestinian population are actually manufactured there by the Israeli arms corporation.

The U.S. will be seen as endorsing the crime, resulting in yet another foreign policy disaster in the Middle East, Philip Giraldi writes.

Some might recall candidate Joe Biden’s pledge to work to rejoin the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) which was a multilateral agreement intended to limit Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon. The JCPOA was signed by President Barack Obama in 2015, when Biden was Vice President, and was considered one of the only foreign policy successes of his eight years in office. Other signatories to it were Britain, China, Germany, France, and Russia and it was endorsed by the United Nations. The agreement included unannounced inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities by the IAEA and, by all accounts, it was working and was a non-proliferation success story. Israeli authorities on Sunday demolished a Palestinian house in the Palestinian city of Lod inside Israel, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Israeli forces, accompanied by bulldozers, raided the al-Mahatta neighborhood in Lod and demolished the house, according to eyewitness reports. The house belonged to Ibrahim Touri, a Palestinian man who has Israeli citizenship, WAFA noted.

“The house demolition came under the Israeli pretext it was built without getting a permit from the Israeli government,” Touri told local media, according to WAFA.

In the 1948 war, about 957,000 Palestinians, or 66 percent of the Palestinians who lived in historical Palestine, were expelled and displaced.

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The hunger-striking administrative detainee, Ala’ Al A’raj, held Palestinian and international officials and human rights organizations responsible for his life and the lives of the other detainees, who are on hunger strike in protest against their illegal administrative detention.

Al A’raj said in a letter sent through his lawyer on Friday that the world holds responsibility for his life and the lives of over 4000 political detainees in Israeli prisons, especially those who are on a hunger strike.

“If we die, do not forget that your neglect was part of our fate, Al A’raj wrote. “We never thought that the people will fail to really support us.”

Al A’raj has been on a hunger strike for 85 days so far in protest against his arbitrary detention by the Israeli authorities. Doctors say that he is facing death.

New York (QNN)- Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan tore up to pieces the United Nations Human Right Council’s annual report at a special General Assembly hearing in New York on Friday.

While mimicking the gesture of former ambassador Chaim Herzog who did the same in 1975 when the UN declared Zionism a form of racism, Israel’s UN envoy on Friday tore up the UNHRC report at a special hearing held at the General Assembly in which the president of the human rights council presented its annual report to all member states.

In the report were the results of an investigative committee that was founded after Israel’s May deadly aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Israeli media reported a hacker group called Moses Staff claimed last week that it has successfully conducted a cyberattack on the Israeli War Ministry, releasing files and photos it claims it obtained from the ministry’s servers.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Moses Staff’s website claims that the group has hacked over 165 servers and 254 websites and compiled over 11 terabytes of data, including Israel Post, the War Ministry, files related to War Minister Benny Gantz, the Electron Csillag company and Epsilor company.

“We’ve kept an eye on you for many years, at every moment and on each step,” wrote the group in the announcement of the attack on their Telegram channel on Sunday, according to The Jerusalem…
