Nablus (QNN)- The Israeli occupation government on Monday ordered a halt on the construction of 22 Palestinian houses in the village of Qusra, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said the Israeli forces yesterday delivered stop-construction orders against 22 Palestinian houses in the village of Qusra, a village encircled by illegal settlements and outposts south of the city of Nablus.
The forces also delivered a demolition order against an agricultural structure.
The Israeli settlements of Migdalim and Shilo were built on land belonging to Qusra residents in the 1970s, and have since grown to border the village to the northeast and south.
Over the past two decades, three additional settler outposts were established on the village’s lands, including Esh Kodesh.
Ignoring Palestinian needs, Israeli occupation authorities practically ban Palestinian construction and development. At the same time, it encourages the development of illegal Israeli settlements.

The UN General Assembly has become paralyzed, but has an important role in affecting international law on Palestine, top experts said on Monday and reported byAnadolu News Agency.
«The UN General Assembly is today paralyzed on the question of Palestine, primarily because of the ability of the US veto. Emphasising a rock-solid human rights framework grounded in international law, Lynk said the General Assembly has a «more effective role» to play on Palestine.
