Israeli Occupation Opens Fire at Fishermen, Farmers South of Gaza Strip

Days of Palestine – Rafah – Israeli occupation forces opened on Monday its fire at Palestinian fishers and farmers who were working in their lands south of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Local sources said that the IOF stationed in military towers opened its fire at farmers and shepherds east of Al-Qarra and Abasan townships forcing them to leave the area fearing for their lives.

They added that the Israeli gunboats shot at fishers’ boats in the Rafah sea and chased a number of them, forcing them to leave the sea, fearing their lives as well.

The border area of the besieged Gaza Strip is exposed to Israeli occupation crimes on a daily basis.

Days of Palestine – West Bank – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried on Monday at dawn acampaign of arrests and raidsin the occupiedWest Bankaffectingseveral Palestinians.

Local sources said that IOF kidnapped eight Palestinian civilians fromJericho governatewho identified as Ma’rouf Faher, Mohamad Abu Asal, Mohamad Al-Saradeeh, Mohamad Balou, Amar Shaqouba, Mohamad Manasra, Oday Abu Sharar, and his brother Quasi.

IOF also broke into separate areas ofRamallahGovernate in the middle occupied West Bank and detained five Palestinian youth.

Sources stated that IOF raided Jalzoun camp north of Ramallah and kidnapped theparamedicZaid Mattar, 26-year-old, after raiding his home. They kidnapped the youth, Majdy Abu Thaher, 27-year-old, as well.

Disclosure of an Israeli Plan to Militarily Take Over the Naqab

An investigation published by Haaretz newspaper, today, Monday, revealed an organized Israeli government plan with the aim of controlling the Naqab and displacing its Palestinian Bedouin residents.

According to the lengthy investigation revealed by Professor Gadi Al-Ghazi, a lecturer in the Department of History at Tel Aviv University, the plan refers to a military operation led by Moshe Dayan when he was commander of the Southern District in the Israeli army, and its goal, according to the documents, is to forcibly isolate the Bedouins from their lands.

Dayan sent a message to the military and political administration at the time, that if the Bedouins were not voluntarily removed from their lands, the occupation army would have to move them by force. Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces arrested on Monday morning four Palestinian youths, after violently beating two of them, in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Local sources said an Israeli special forces unit stormed the village of Qatanna, to the northwest of occupied Jerusalem, and arrested two Palestinian youths after brutally attacking their vehicle, assaulting and beating them as traces of blood could be seen on the vehicle which has also been damaged.

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli occupation authorities on Monday morning forced a Palestinian family to self-demolish its own house in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Al-Issawiya, under the pretext of building without a permit.

At the order of Israeli municipality in the occupied city of Jerusalem, the Jerusaelmite family of Obeid forcibly self-demolished its house which consists of two apartments in the Al-Issawiya, displacing 7 residents.

Among the displaced are a new groom and his wife who own one of the apartments. The other apartment is a shelter for a family of five; the brother of the new groom, his wife and three children.

The occupation municipality ordered the two apartments to be self-demolished. Otherwise they have to pay exorbitant fines of the demolition costs to the municipality if it carries out the demolition.
